*Tsuero: Land of the Halflings*
Welcome to Tsuero: Land of the Halflings. We are a roleplay forum that centers around halfling people: not Tolkien hobbits, but actual halflings, half human, half animal breeds. In this game, your character can be merged with any species that you desire, but we encourage creativity. For instance, instead of merging your character with the classic wolf, fox, or cat, you could merge him or her with a dingo, coyote, or cheetah. This isn't to say that you aren't allowed to have these classic mixes, but they aren't encouraged. If this is your first time here, please read the rules and sign-up. If you have been here before, login and start playing!
*Updates*
1/17/06 - Structural Updates I've added the nifty new cash feature. Now, everytime you post, you receive one cash. These can be used to buy customized avatars, extra karma, and basically customized everything. Even graphics outside of proboards you can buy with cash. Also, you can buy plot slots for your character. You make up a position you want your character to have and give up some cash, and later, we incorporate that character into a miniplot. Cool, huh?	1/18/06 - Social Updates Did a lot of advertising. Hope I didn't fforget to put up any banners. XP Affiliated with a new site. Check out their banner at the bottom! Role Playing: The Duchy of Dying Trumpets
	The Priestess and the Thief This tavern was one of the first establishments, drink-based or otherwise, in the Duchy of Dying Trumpets. It was founded by an ambitious young human man who wished to make money off of travelers, because the area was one frequented by many sorts of people. He built it with his own two hands, and in a remarkably quick time, considering the fact that he was a normal human with no special powers except for a rather strong recipe for ale. It is two stories high, the first story occupied by a bar, stools, a fireplace, and a few tables, the second story occupied by rooms filled with beds. It is made of wood that has withstood the years of abuse that time threw its way, and the floors are smooth. Moderator: Persyri Dagela	0	0
	God's Wind It is here that the most of the deeply religious denizens of the Duchy can attend church services. The most widely attended ones are at the beginning of the week, so the place is relatively empty during most of the week. It is a tall, white structure carved entirely of alabaster. The pews are even made of alabaster. The hymn books are leather bound, with gold edged pages, and though books are a valuable rarity, most visitors know enough not to steal them. The church, sworn not to cause violence with their own hands, hires assasins and mercenaries to guard the place, and sorcerers to place spells of protection on it. These spells are so strong that the richly embroidered rug that runs from the entrance up to the altar never seems to fray, and the detailed painting of angels playing harps on the ceiling never chips. 	Walkway of Heaven The dramatic name of this market street often deceives visitors into thinking it will be a humble street that one can buy wares on. It is, in fact, one of the few busy places in the Duchy, besides the Priestess and the Thief. Despite the rambunctiousness of the place, it is still a very useful market, as one can buy anything from bolts of fabric to fresh bread to slaves. The slavery is often frowned upon by the Church, but it is not against the law to trade and use slaves in the Duchy. Moderator: Persyri Dagela	0	0
	Office of Tourism Any travelers can come to this office to receive information about the Duchy of Dying Trumpets. Moderator: Persyri Dagela	0	0
Role Playing: The Empire of Fishes
	The Trout and the Pixie This tavern is a modest establishment. It does not have an inn attached to it, but it sends all travelers who ask for one to the nearby inn, The Salmon's Womb. This tavern is rather small, but it is cozy, and offers excellent seafood dishes. Most of its customers are humans, or feline-like halflings. In fact, most halflings in the Empire of Fishes are feline-like. The smallness of the place does not take away from the luxury. The walls are painted with ocean scenes of fish and mermaids, and the scenes are very ornate and detailed. Sometimes, travelers come in there just to look at the walls. 	The Salmon's Womb This is the best, and only, inn in the Empire of Fishes. As its name would suggest, it is a very cozy place. The walls are painted a warm pink color, and the floors are a very hard, but slick and pleasing, rosewood wood. The blankets are mostly cotton, but for a few extra coins, you can be lodged in one of the high-class rooms, where there are high-pile carpets embroidered with roses and fish on the floor and rose colored sheets of silk on the beds. They serve some alcohol here, but they advise anybody wishing for a drink to head down to the local tavern. Moderator: Persyri Dagela	0	0
Role Playing: The Province of Aphrodite
	Persephone's Courtyard This is a small park planted with soft green grass and red flowers. It doesn't have really any toys for children, it is mostly a place for thought and reflection. Oftentimes, lovers frequent this place to swing on the swings that have been artfully hung from the strong young laurel trees in the park. 	The Weeping Harlot This is a tavern and brothel in one. When you walk in, it is dimly lit, with the walls painted with images of beautiful, scantily clad women. The barmaid is always, invariably a young woman with enormous breasts and a generous hand at the keg. Their liquor is cheap, for it is with the women that they make their real money. They know their trade well, and they know that if they get any man drunk enough, he can be persuaded to pay any price for even the ugliest woman. None of the women they have are remotely ugly, however, and so they really don't need the liquor. Any man (or woman) who walks into that tavern would have his heartstrings tangled in the fingers of any of the women there in a heartbeat.
